Since 1998, following a seminar at Mansão do Caminho in Salvador (Brazil), we have been developing a project to publicise and organise study groups and courses on the Joanna de Ângelis Psychological Series.

 

The movement gained strength and scope and, little by little, expanded beyond Brazil.

 

In this way, we formed a united group committed to Joanna’s teachings and aiming for spiritual growth. Through the Medical-Spiritist Association of Brazil, we organized groups in Latin America, Europe, and the United States.

 

With support from the Medical-Spiritist Association of Brazil and the Spiritist Society of Bournemouth in England, the idea for the Joanna de Ângelis International Spiritist Congress was born.

 

The first Congress took place in Assisi, Italy, in April 2023, under the theme: “Joanna and Francis and their Message of Love.” The Medical-Spiritist Association of Brazil, the Federazione Spiritista Italiana, the Spiritist Society of Bournemouth, and Fraternidade Sem Fronteiras in Italy supported it.

 

The second Congress was held in Germany, at a monastery in Neustadt an der Weinstraße, on 19, 20 and 21 April 2024. The theme was “Gratitude and Inner Transformation.” The event was organised by the Medical-Spiritist Association of Brazil, the Spiritist Society of Bournemouth, and Solidarität ohne Grenzen e.V., with the support of Editora Leal, Mansão do Caminho, and the Deutsche Spiritistische Vereinigung.

 

The third Joanna de Ângelis International Spiritist Congress was held in England on 12, 13, and 14 September 2025. The Medical-Spiritist Association of Brazil and the Spiritist Society of Bournemouth in the United Kingdom initiated the event.

 

The 4th International Congress Spiritist Joanna de Ângelis took place in Fátima, Portugal, from 28 to 30 August 2025. Set in a place renowned for its spiritual significance and peaceful atmosphere, the Congress offered a meaningful opportunity for reflection, learning and fellowship, surrounded by a sense of harmony and positive energy. The event was jointly organised by the Medical-Spiritist Association of Rio Grande do Sul (AMERGS), Brazil, and Joanna de Ângelis Spiritists International, bringing together participants united by their interest in the teachings of Joanna de Ângelis and their commitment to spiritual growth and self-knowledge.

These Congresses provide a unique opportunity to bring together students and individuals interested in the Spiritist Psychology of Joanna de Ângelis, which emphasises the concept of the Integral Human Being. Her vision promotes an idealistic and immortalist approach to life, encouraging peaceful problem-solving and an understanding of reincarnation. Joanna’s teachings aim to help individuals achieve inner fulfillment, leading to a new level of awareness and personal transformation.

 

In harmony with the approach inspired by our benefactor Joanna de Ângelis, we are pleased to announce the 5th Joanna de Ângelis International Spiritist Congress, to be held in Einsiedeln, Switzerland, on 26, 27 and 28 March 2027, under the theme: “Inner Encounter and the Awakening of the Self.”

 

This event is organised by Joanna de Ângelis Spiritists International, a non-profit organisation registered in England and AMERGS and supported by the Medical-Spiritist Association of Brazil, the Spiritist Society of Bournemouth in the United Kingdom, and Mansão do Caminho, Brazil.
