Since 1998, from a seminar held at Mansão do Caminho, in Salvador (Brazil), we have been developing the project of publicising and organizing study groups and courses on the Joanna de Ângelis Psychological Series.

 

The movement gained strength and scope and, little by little, expanded beyond the Brazilian homeland.

 

In this way, we formed a united group committed to Joanna’s teachings and aiming for spiritual growth. Through the Medical-Spiritist Association of Brazil we organized groups in Latin America, Europe, and the United States.

 

With the support of the Medical-Spiritist Association of Brazil and the Spiritist Society of Bournemouth in England, the idea of the Joanna de Ângelis International Spiritist Congress was born.

 

The first Congress took place in Assisi, Italy, in April 2023, under the theme: “Joanna and Francis and their Message of Love.” It was supported by the Medical-Spiritist Association of Brazil, the Federazione Spiritista Italiana, the Spiritist Society of Bournemouth, and Fraternidade Sem Fronteiras in Italy.

 

The second Congress was held in Germany, at a monastery in Neustadt an der Weinstraße, on 19, 20 and 21 April 2024. The theme was “Gratitude and Inner Transformation.” The event was organised by the Medical-Spiritist Association of Brazil, the Spiritist Society of Bournemouth, and Solidarität ohne Grenzen e.V., with the support of Editora Leal, Mansão do Caminho, and the Deutsche Spiritistische Vereinigung.

 

The third Joanna de Ângelis International Spiritist Congress was held in England on 12, 13 and 14 September 2025. The event was an initiative of the Medical-Spiritist Association of Brazil and the Spiritist Society of Bournemouth in the United Kingdom.

 

These Congresses provide a unique opportunity to bring together students and individuals interested in the Spiritist Psychology of Joanna de Ângelis, which emphasises the concept of the Integral Human Being. Her vision promotes an idealistic and immortalist approach to life, encouraging peaceful problem-solving and an understanding of reincarnation. Joanna’s teachings aim to help individuals achieve inner fulfilment, leading to a new level of awareness and personal transformation.

 

In harmony with the approach inspired by our benefactor Joanna de Ângelis, we are pleased to announce the 4th Joanna de Ângelis International Spiritist Congress, to be held in Fátima, Portugal, on 28, 29 and 30 August 2026, under the theme: “Overcoming the Pains of the Soul: The Path to Mental Health.”

 

This event is organised by Joanna de Ângelis Spiritists International, a non-profit organisation registered in England and AMERGS and supported by the Medical-Spiritist Association of Rio Grande do Sul, the Spiritist Society of Bournemouth in the United Kingdom, and Mansão do Caminho, Brazil.
