Since 1998, following a seminar held at the Mansion of the Way in Salvador, Brazil, the initiative to promote and organise Spiritist study groups and courses on the Joanna de Ângelis Psychological Series was launched. The movement began to gain momentum and gradually expanded beyond Brazil's borders.

 

Thus we formed a united group committed to the benefactor Joanna de Ângelis, dedicated to the mission of fostering spiritual growth. Through the Medical Spiritist Association of Brazil, we have established groups in numerous Latin American countries, as well as in Europe and the United States.

 

Supported by the Medical Spiritist Association of Brazil and the Spiritist Society of Bournemouth in the United Kingdom, the idea for the Joanna de Ângelis International Congress was born. The first gathering was held in Assisi, Italy, in April 2023, with the theme Joanna and Francisco: Their Message of Love. The event was supported by the Medical Spiritist Association of Brazil, the Italian Spiritist Federation, the Spiritist Society of Bournemouth, and the Fraternity Without Borders, from Italy.

 

The second gathering was held in Germany at a monastery in the city of Neustadt an der Weinstraße on 19th, 20th, and 21st April 2024. The topic discussed was Gratitude and Inner Transformation. The event was organised by the Medical Spiritist Association of Brazil, the Spiritist Society of Bournemouth, and Solidarity Without Borders e. V., with the support of Editora Leal, the Mansion of the Way, and the German Spiritist Association.

 

These gatherings offer a unique opportunity to bring together students and those interested in Joanna de Ângelis's approach to Spiritism, whose vision of the Integral Being provides tools for leading an idealistic and immortalist philosophical way of life. This approach helps us find peaceful solutions to problems, grounded in the principles of reincarnation, in the pursuit of the plenitude of human beings—that is, a new consciousness and the inner transformation of the individual.

 

Aligned with the approach inspired by the benefactor Joanna de Ângelis, we are thrilled to announce the 3rd International Spiritist Congress Joanna de Ângelis , to be held in England on the 12th, 13th, and 14th of September 2025. This event is an initiative of the Medical Spiritist Association of Brazil and the Spiritist Society of Bournemouth in the United Kingdom.
